Our superior quality castings meet demanding dimensional and cosmetic finish requirements. Thin wall and tight tolerance applications are our specialty. Carteret Die Casting produces castings in sizes ranging from 1/10 of a gram up to 4 pounds. Both conventional and multi-slide machines are available. Process DescriptionMolten zinc is injected under high pressure into a closed single or multiple cavity automated die. Parts are removed from the runner/gate via tumble, punch press, or machining. Advantages- Provides complex shapes with tighter dimensional control than other mass production processes.
